Welcome to 1M1 Records' November newsletter. 1M1 Records' newest release, is still the film score release of "The Coolangatta Gold" by Bill Conti. The 78-minute CD has become a very popular release which we are proud of.
Next month our new release is "Eliza Fraser" and "Summerfield" by Bruce Smeaton. Plus we have two new original Australian soundtrack titles available: a lyrical orchestral score, "Silhouette of the Desert", by Nerida Tyson-Chew, and a recently acclaimed film called "The Tracker".
We look forward to seeing you back here for December's newsletter. Your feedback is always welcome. firstname.lastname@example.org
October/November New Release
The original majesty of Bill Conti's orchestral music for "The Coolangatta Gold" has been buried away, and forgotten, for so many years. Nearly two decades later, the original recordings have been located, and most of the neglected and flaking tapes have now been fully restored.
Conti's music captures the feverish excitement of the early Iron Man races, athletes training and the long triathlon race, which is the climax of the film. The CD is full of brass fanfares, swirling woodwinds and rhapsodic strings. There are also many tracks underscoring the emotional relationships between the characters in the film, and the tensions involved, which have never been released before.
Recent Soundtrack Additions to the Website
Unfortunately we have no more copies of Mario Millo's score for the prisoner-of-war drama, "Changi", available. However, new stock is available of Paul Kelly's score for "Lantana", Alan John's score for "The Bank". "Dirty Deeds" and "Two Hands are also still available.

Current Releases; which are still being manufactured.
More Soundtracks; previously released titles which are still available, including titles previously released by 1M1 Records which are no longer being manufactured, and brand new CDs of other soundtracks which 1M1 has in its stocks. There are still copies available of Alan John's "The Bank", and a range of Brian May scores. Several scores by Jerry Goldsmith, Ennio Morricone, Georges Delerue and Bruce Broughton are also available here.
Collectors Items; rare 1M1 CDs priced in the premium range because of the difficulty in sourcing them, containing 1M1 CDs like "Devil in the Flesh / We of the Never Never", "Roadgames / Patrick", "Race for the Yankee Zephyr / The Survivor" and "Harlequin / The Day After Halloween": items which have very few soundtracks left in stock and are quite unlikely to become available again in the foreseeable future.
Secondhand Titles; soundtrack releases from anywhere in the world which 1M1 currently has in stock, containing quite a few bargain-priced excellent condition soundtrack CDs for sale, including several Australian film soundtracks.
New and Upcoming Releases
Next month our new release is a double film score of "Eliza Fraser" and "Summerfield" by Bruce Smeaton. The first is orchestrally boisterous, and the other is quite low key but very lyrical.
Many other scores will be announced soon for next year.
