Welcome to 1M1 Records' January-April 2007 newsletter.
We are happy to let you know that we can take credit card details online, as well as continuing to accept them by fax, telephone or by mail.
In January we added 4 new titles to the website and then another 3 in February. We are planning to add several new Australian titles every month. We will also be adding some unusual, or very rare Australian soundtrack CDs with limited copies available. We will inform customers of these in the newsletters. The newsletters themselves will now be once again appearing regularly, informing you of updates and changes to the site.
There will be releases from 1M1 Records itself from time to time. This year we are planning to release a CD of Australian film themes, the scores from Bliss, The Irishman, Harp in the South and Poor Man's Orange. Other titles will be announced as they become ready for release.
Recent Soundtrack Additions to the Website
7 Australian scores have been added between January and March. They are: the score for the IMAX Antarctica film (Nigel Westlake), The Book of Revelation (Cezary Skubiszewski), BoyTown (Gareth Skinner), The Caterpillar Wish (Burkhard Dallwitz), Jindabyne (Paul Kelly), Kenny (Richard Pleasance) and Strange Bedfellows (Dale Cornelius).
Another 4 will be added towards the end of April.
Credit Cards Online over Secure Connection
1M1 Records is once again able to accept Credit Card details from their customers over a secure connection. Those customers who wish to continue faxing their credit card details can still do so.
New & Upcoming Releases
Forthcoming 1M1 releases include the film scores by Peter Best for "Bliss", "Harp in the South", "Poor Man's Orange", "Monkey Grip" and "The Irishman". We are also issuing a CD of Australian film themes which includes numerous themes from Australian films which have never been released on LP or CD.
We will release more information in our newsletters regarding these releases as they are closer to completion.
The 1M1 Records Website
Current Releases; Australian film scores which are still being manufactured and distributed.
More Soundtracks; previously released titles which are still available, including titles previously released by 1M1 Records which are no longer being manufactured, and brand new CDs of other soundtracks which 1M1 has in its stocks. Australian scores like "Lantana", "The Bank" (winner of the AGSC 2002 award for Best Score), "The Nugget", "The Tracker", "Two Hands", "Romper Stomper", "Silhouettes of the Desert", "The Dish", and a range of Brian May scores are available here. Several scores by Jerry Goldsmith, Georges Delerue, Elmer Bernstein, Ennio Morricone, Leonard Rosenman and Bruce Broughton are also available here. Use our 'search the site' feature to find scores by composer names, or click on "Browse Catalogue by Composer" hyperlink.
Collectors Items; rare 1M1 CDs priced in the premium range because of the difficulty in sourcing them, containing 1M1 CDs like "Devil in the Flesh / We of the Never Never", "Roadgames / Patrick", "Race for the Yankee Zephyr / The Survivor" and "Harlequin / The Day After Halloween" and other now rare Australian soundtracks such as "Strange Planet"and "The Umbrella Woman": items which have very few soundtracks left in stock and are quite unlikely to become available again in the foreseeable future.
Secondhand Titles; soundtrack releases from anywhere in the world which 1M1 currently has in stock, containing quite a few bargain-priced excellent condition soundtrack CDs for sale, including a few Australian film soundtracks, and some LPs. http://www.1m1.com.au/catalog.asp?c=6
